The China-Belarus Innovation Center for Industrialization of Scientific and Technological Achievements was officially set up in China-Belarus Industrial Park on Dec 28.

Chairman of Belarus Science and Technology Committee, vice president of Belarus Academy of Sciences Sergel Chizhik and CEO of China-Belarus Industrial Park Development Company Hu Zheng attended the inaugural ceremony and announced the establishment of the innovation center.

The innovation center was co-launched by Belarus Science and Technology Committee, Belarus Academy of Sciences and China-Belarus Industrial Park Development Company. It is aimed at fostering high-tech industries and promoting the integration of research and production.

Hu Zheng answered questions at the media conference about the functions of the innovation center and the current development of high-tech industries in the park.

An agreement engaged in the foundation of a supportive fund was also signed on the day in order to increase investment on innovative scientific projects.
