Financing agreement signed for the Second Phase of Bahrain's largest affordable housing project

China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC), a subsidiary of Sinomach, has signed a financing agreement for the Second Phase of the East Sitra Housing Project in Bahrain and will undertake the project as EPC contractor. The project is currently the largest affordable housing project under construction in Bahrain and is being implemented in three phases. The First Phase has been handed over for occupancy, and the Third Phase has been completed on schedule, while the Second Phase—the largest phase—covers 1,269 housing units along with supporting municipal infrastructure. Upon completion, the project will significantly improve the living conditions for local residents and enhance urban livability.

Thailand TPIPP 150MW RDF Waste-to-Energy Project achieves steam supply and power generation

The third high-temperature, ultra-high-pressure, once-reheat circulating fluidized bed waste incineration boiler with external bed technology at the TPIPP 150MW RDF Waste-to-Energy Plant in Thailand has successfully commenced steam supply and power generation. The project is EPC-contracted by China National Electric Engineering Co Ltd (CNEEC), a subsidiary of Sinomach. Each boiler has a waste treatment capacity of 2,000 tons per day, making it the world’s largest and most advanced waste incineration boiler in terms of single-unit daily capacity and operating parameters, with industry-leading power generation efficiency. The first two boilers have been operating stably for several months, easing regional waste disposal pressure, reducing carbon emissions, and creating a new pathway for the coordinated development of waste-to-energy utilization and environmental protection.

Uzbekistan green and low-carbon energy project launched

On December 5, the green and low-carbon energy project at the Navoi Nitrogen Fertilizer Plant in Uzbekistan was unveiled at the country’s ceremonial launch of new energy facilities and the start of construction for additional projects. The project receives full-process engineering consulting services from Beijing Scientech International Project Management Co Ltd (SCIENTECH), a subsidiary of Sinomach. Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended the event and formally launched the project. The project plans to install 300MW of photovoltaic capacity, supported by a 75 MW/75 MWh energy storage system, and represents a key initiative in Uzbekistan’s energy transition and industrial decarbonization. Acting as the owner’s engineer, SCIENTECH integrates Chinese new energy standards with international project management practices to deliver full lifecycle support, earning strong recognition from the local government.
